Weekend Wishes
Hope your weekend is off to a fantastic start. My weekend to-do list includes switching out my closet from summer to fall. Although the task itself isn’t a lot of fun, I really am looking forward to bringing out the scarves, faux fur, animal print and lots of layering pieces. What are your plans for the weekend? Joy of Simplicity
My life has been moving at about 90 miles an hour for so many years now. Most days I can’t remember what it was like to relax. Completely overwhelmed by it all recently, I made a decision to take a step back. I’m on a mission to get back to basics. I want to know what it feels like to breathe easy again. Spanish Style Architecture
This Montecito California estate was designed by George Washington Smith in his signature Spanish-Colonial Revival style. Smith’s style was based on centuries-old structures observed in his European travels. Handcrafted tiles, carved doors, wrought iron, sconces, chandeliers and imported beams all add to its old-world charm. This estate is currently on the market. Beautiful Balconies
As the weather begins to cool, I find myself making more excuses to be outdoors. Anxious to take in those last bits of summer, I’ve gone for walks, had meals on the patio and more. It’s times like this – I wish I had a balcony. I imagine sitting on this suspended platform, with a bird’s eye view of the scenery below.
