I’ve always been fascinated by words.

Growing up in the Midwest gave me an appreciation of simple beauty. While I love shiny, sparkly and over-the-top everything just as much as the next girl, I’m also inspired by rolling green fields and red barns. Although I moved away long ago, some days I still miss it.

I’m lucky enough to be married to my best friend. Our “children” have fur and four legs.

On DailyDivaDish the focus is primarily on the components of style – especially fashion and beauty plus people, words and even the colors that inspire me.

As for my own style, it’s about living in the moment. The only constant is an obsession with accessories, especially jewelry. I suspect my eclectic style may just be a sign of a fear of commitment.

I think awkward situations have the potential to be hilarious.

I was once yelled at by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck. Turns out, when someone asks the question, “Do you know who I am?” the word “NO” doesn’t go over very well.

I adore the beach, but hate sand. Crime shows relax me. Clowns give me nightmares.
