I admit, I’m a shower girl. Showers are just so fast and efficient. I can quickly be on my way to bigger and better things. So why am I so drawn to photos of bathtubs? Maybe it’s a gentle reminder that I need to make more time for the simple things, like a long soak in a beautiful bathtub like one of these… In fact, some of these dreamy bathtubs may just make me a convert. So what about you: Are you shower or tub girl?

♥Monique-You’re right, they really do evoke relaxation…maybe that’s why I was so drawn to them. I am in need of some major relaxation. lol!

Oh man. Already took my shower, but just like you, this makes me long for a very long soak in one of these tubs! May favorites are photo (1) for the beauty of the room; (3) just for the feeling of coming in from working in a garden, dropping your garden knickers & climbing into soothing hot water while being surrounded by a greenhouse feel; (5) what can I say … what a view to start any day! and (7) (must be a day of odd numbers!) for love of mirror! Thanks for sharing such beautiful images!
♥Sandy- I love all your choices! It’s so tough for me to choose a favorite. Like you, I like several, each for different reasons. Have a beautiful day!

These are so gorgeous! Shower in the morning, with citrus and rosemary scents to perk me up, bath at night before bed, with cherry blossom to calm me down! So, I’m both! XO!

Thanks for stopping by and your lovely comments. They are much appreciated.

Love both showers and a chilled out bath with Jo Malone products!
This shot is dreamy though! Nothing like a free standing bath tub in the middle of the room!

♥Deepa-I know just how you feel. I’ve seen some of the most beautiful bathrooms that are primarily made up of windows. Although they are so gorgeous, I always wonder if I’d be able to live that way.

I’m both. Shower in the morning bath at night to relax. And fortunately, I live in a 100+ year-old home with the original claw foot tub. In the summer, late at night, I can hear the fountain in my backyard while I soak in the tub. I highly recommend it!
♥Patricia – An original claw-foot tub and running water in the background…that sounds lovely!

If I had a fabulous soaking tub, I would be in it every day! I cannot luxuriate in 6 inches of lukewarm water in a cold and cramped tub.
♥Carol-Wouldn’t it be great to have one of these tubs in your home? That would be so nice to come home to each day.
XO Piper
Piper, I couldn’t help myself. I think I adore bathtubs far too much. I had to include this post in my weekly Cups of Tea which will post tomorrow (8/15). The collection of images you gathered are wonderful. I hope your weekend is going well. =)

Love the ambiance of pic number 4…..stencilling, lace curtain, tin ceiling, doily on the tub, and soft color with white.
♥ Kay- That one is so romantic!

I am a shower girl but only because my own bathtub is a little to grimy to be lingering in. The curse of renting I guess.
I linked your post on my blog!!
