Style and Comfort:

When Monticello Shoes asked me to try a sample of their Spring/Summer 2010 creations, I couldn’t resist.

Soon I was scrolling through the new collection in search of the shoe I would choose.  From their unique designs to the colors, it was soon clear – Monticello is NOT a run-of-the-mill line.

As soon as I saw “Dora” the search was over.  I think my first thought was something along the lines of, “OMG it’s like shoe candy!”

First off, they are 4.25″ platform shoes.  Constructed of kidskin leather and suede, these sandals surround the foot in softness.  The main part the shoe is a chocolate color, then with a big pop of pink on the platform, pink and orange painted heels and a pink bow in back – these shoes are so feminine and pretty!

And about that pink bow… It rests beautifully on the back of the heel.  So, whether coming or going, these shoes make a statement.

I must also mention the comfort of Monticello Shoes.  I was told from the beginning about their signature comfort padding – but was skeptical.  After all, everyone says their shoes are well-padded and comfortable.  (And very few deliver.)  However, Monticello shoes are very well padded and some of the most comfortable high heels I’ve ever worn.
