Lavender Fields of Provence:
Within the next few months, lavender fields will begin blooming across the south of France.
Provence is known for their abundant lavender fields. In fact, many plan trips to the region around the blooming season.
Through the years, lavender has become my favorite flower. I have a few plants scattered throughout the landscaping. By just running my hands across these perfumed plants, I continue to smell the relaxing fragrance throughout the day. I can only imagine the glorious scent of being in a lavender field.

Valensole is one hour from Aix en Provence.
Very beautiful. There is a lavender festival close to where we live in Texas, so it’s always fun to go there. France is just a little nicer though.
