Spring Fashion: Bold

Prints on Acid:

By Virginia NamNYC Contributor

Get ready to go bold this Spring!  Prints and patterns are certainly making a showing in the upcoming season.

Tribal prints, big since last year, emerged on Spring runways with increased intensity in higher watts of color including: neon yellow, bright pink, apple green and more.  Floral and digital prints have also appeared in energetic and bold hues.

Proenza Schouler offered mini-dresses in electric colors with prints that looked like they were inspired by Atlantis.  Meanwhile, Balenciaga featured pants that look like a painter’s palette – transferred to fabric.  And while we are used to seeing tribal prints in mostly neutrals and nudes, Gucci offered tribal in an optimistic white and pink number.

You’re sure to get noticed in this trend.  Check out examples of the prints on acid look below.
