Etsy-Style Valentine:

Embroidery always makes me smile.  To realize someone took the time to create a beautiful design, literally, stitch-by-stitch warms my heart.

My grandmother did a lot of embroidered pieces.  I especially loved her tea towels.  The care she took in creating beauty out of such a utilitarian piece was amazing to me.

So when I saw the following, I had to share.  They are pillows with a little hand-embroidered pocket on the side.  A perfect place to keep precious love notes.  Aren’t they darling?
