Ice Photography:
Although I’m not a huge fan of this particular season, I still appreciate its charm on occasion. I can even find beauty in a moderate ice storm. 
I enjoy photographing icy terrains. They fascinate me. Even the most simple thing, such as a bare, leafless tree is transformed into an ice sculpture.
Sometimes an ice storm can turn really nasty, breaking trees and power lines…I do not enjoy these. But a light to moderate coating of ice can turn a dull winter terrain into a magical wonderland.

These pictures are amazing. I’ve never seen anything like that. I live in Southern California, so that’s not something we see out here. haha. It has been raining on & off for the past couple of weeks, but I’m thankful we don’t have snow like the DC area. I hope everyone’s ok out there.
