Tibetan Fashion

New from Twisted Silver:

This week Twisted Silver launched the next piece of their Salvage line — Tibet.  tibet150 150x150 Tibetan FashionI received a sample of the Tibet necklace several weeks ago.  Immediately I found the name intriguing.  Why Tibet?

A Piece of History

As I soon learned, each of the Tibet necklaces contain a bit of history.  A polished agate tile featuring one-of-a-kind glyphs, salvaged from Tibet, adorns each necklace…hence the name.

In addition to the Tibetan tile there’s also a piece of red coral and a leopard jasper bead.  And of course, it’s finished with a TS stamped tag.

So Many Options

And it gets even better… The necklace is convertible.  Wear it doubled as a choker or open it up and wear as a long necklace.  This versatility quickly became my favorite feature!  I wore it long, short and even as a bracelet one day.

How I wore Tibet

As always, I adore the look of Debra Mitchell’s designs with denim.  When I wore the Tibet necklace with sweaters, I usually wore it long.  Then doubled it to wear inside the collar of button up shirts.  One day I even wore it as a bracelet with a long-sleeved t-shirt.  If you want to take it to the next level — pair the Tibet necklace with the Justice cuff!

Find pictures of the Tibet necklace below and an ensemble I created using Tibet and Justice.

If you’d like one of your own, stop by Twisted Silver.  Price is $100.
