80′s Flashback:

The following video is an example of one of the charitable music collaborations that took place in the 80′s.  This recording by Band Aid of “Do They Know it’s Christmas” was to help famine-relief efforts in Ethiopia.

Others in that decade included Farm Aid, designed to help save America’s family farms and USA for Africa’s recording of “We are the World,”  to bring humanitarian aid to Africa.

I chose this video because I think it’s a perfect reminder of all we have to be thankful for in this country…especially around the holidays.

But it’s also a fun look back at the 80′s!  It answers the age-old-question, “What would the world look like without faux tanner?“
