Fashionable Words & Pictures Edition:
Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas Eve day… Unless you’re one of those smarties who does their holiday shopping throughout the year– I’m predicting a day of retail insanity in your near future.
Maybe it doesn’t have to be so hectic… At DailyDivaDish, we’ve made our list and checked it twice. We’ve assembled a wish list for the naughty and nice!
As the first of several editions we’ll be posting this holiday season, this grouping features gifts for fashionable friends that appreciate books, movies, music and art.
Lit Chick:
For the book lovers on your list, check out the following fashionable finds:
Magazines can be fun too. Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire and Nylon magazines are options for fashionistas.
And for those wanting to stay in the know about fashion and beauty shopping including neighborhood shopping guides and retail website discoveries + shopping steals, look to Lucky Magazine.
Fashion, beauty and lifestyle lovers may also enjoy InStyle, Allure or Glamour.
Inspired by Art:
Have a friend who already has just about everything and really appreciates unique finds? Get her a piece of art from Fifi Flowers. Fifi is a California artist specializing in all things French. On a side note, if you haven’t been to her blog–I would highly recommend it.
But back to business. Among other things, her Etsy Shop features Fifi’s paintings on note cards that are truly suitable for framing. A set of 8 of these little masterpieces will set you back a mere $14. (And if she’s a really good friend–consider commissioning an original painting from Fifi.) Regardless of what you choose—I’m certain your friend doesn’t already have this gift.
Music Maven:
Obviously go with music your friend likes, but FYI– here are some of the newest releases:
The following is a video of Lady Gaga performing two songs from this latest collection: Bad Romance and Speechless.

Queen of the Cinema:
Does she adore movies? You could always get her a copy of the latest and greatest releases… Or, to go a different route, think classic.
If she’s a glamour girl who draws inspiration from Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe and other silver screen icons—feed that inspiration. Find movies featuring her favorite leading ladies. Here are some classic options:
- The Audrey Hepburn DVD Collection (Includes Breakfast at Tiffany’s)
- Marilyn Monroe Special Anniversary Collection
That concludes our Fashionable Words and Pictures Edition of the DDD Holiday Gift Guide. Also see our Etsy-llent Accessories guide and stay tuned for others.
