Quotes about Age

Birthdays:

This week I celebrated a birthday.  Celebrated may be too strong of a term.  Perhaps acknowledged would be a better choice of words.paris Quotes about Age I never thought I would be the person who feared birthdays.  But surprise!  I am.

Would you trade experience for youth?

While trying to cheer me up, a dear friend reminded me of how much the last several years had brought.  She asked the question, “Would you really still want to be 20 again?”  To which I replied…yes.  Clearly I was not going to make this pep talk easy on her.

She reminded me of the advantages of having a few more years under my belt.  Emotional, spiritual and financial growth over the years, etc…  She had some valid points, but it wasn’t an easy sale.

Over the last couple of days I’ve thought about her words.  At times I agree.  Other times I’d give it all up in an instant to be 20 again.

So as I struggle against going into an early midlife crisis, I found the following quotes to motivate myself.  Hopefully you find some you like as well.  Enjoy and have a happy Friday.

(This dear friend also sent me a lovely birthday package which included a perfume from Paris–that is not available in the US.  I love it!  Hence the following pics of Paris.)
