bareMinerals MATTE Foundation
Can the Gold Standard in mineral makeup get better?
I think it can! I’ve always enjoyed the Bare Escentuals line. Those who’ve been with me for awhile know of my obsession with the eyecolors alone. 
I regularly use their SPF 30 sunscreen. Plus the brushes, and Buxom…well, you get the picture.
As for the foundation, this one’s been a love-hate relationship for me. I love the benefits it offers in skincare, but have always wrestled with formulation. The big tub of loose minerals can get very messy during travel. And since I travel quite a bit–this was an issue.
Problem Solved
The new bareMinerals MATTE foundation has solved this challenge. It comes with the new Click, Lock, Go sifter. Simply turn the sifter, shake desired amount into the lid and then turn the sifter again to close. No mineral mess in the lid! Love this.

I’m a makeup artist, and I work with this product regularly. Women are CRAZY about it! I, too, love the new packaging and hope they plan to do this with all of their loose mineral products. But I would caution that MATTE is not for everyone. If you have oily skin, great–it’s for you. But if you’re dry, stick with the regular formula. And try out their primers–they’re terrific!
I swear by Bare Escentuals products. I love their shadows, too.

the sifter is a GREAT idea! the lack of on the others has always been my only complaint of BE products.. i always end up with too much to swirl into so this sounds great!

I have yet to try this makeup. I’ve heard such wonderful things about it and I’d love to try it. I think it might just add some GLAM to my style.

Obviously, I’m late to the party, since I wasn’t aware of the
new packaging. I LOVE Bare Escentuals and Bare Minerals
foundation. It’s all I’ve used for several years. So I’m
delighted to hear about their new approach to packaging. Now
I can’t wait to use up my existing supply (it last forever!)
