Scrub a Dub Dub:
Our goal is to always find you the best of everything. If it’s not special you probably won’t find it here.
So with the fall season drawing near and winter right behind it…we’ve been on a search to find an amazing body exfoliator.
Not just a good one, but the best we could find!
After many misses, we’ve found a hit.
What do you look for in an exfoliator?
Exfoliation…right! To be honest, most in the category do provide some sort of exfoliation. But unfortunately many have other issues. Such as:
- Overly greasy and oily
- Too abrasive
- Difficult to apply because it keeps clumping and crumbling
- Too much work
I think we’ve finally found a winner!
Kate Somerville’s ExfoliKate Body Treatment is unlike any others we tried for several reasons:
- I has a great consistency that sticks to the skin without crumbling off.
- The scrubbing beads are gentle…no sharp edges.
- It is soothing without being greasy.
- Combines both physical and chemical exfoliation–which means you don’t have to do all the work!
- Rinses easily.
How is it different?
The reason it works so differently is because ExfoliKate uses papaya and pumpkin enzymes to chemically digest dead skin cells. These cells are then buffed away with gentle scrubbing beads. Meanwhile, natural acids help refine and polish the skin.
ExfoliKate is lightly scented with a combination of lavender and bergamot oils. Plus contains caffeine which is supposed to tighten the skin.
The bottom line is- it left my skin feeling fresh, renewed and much softer. My skin absolutely glowed and without irritation or a greasy feeling left behind. Just what I wanted in an exfoliation treatment.
I’m not sure if my skin was any firmer after one use, but even more reason to keep using!

It’s hard to find a good exfoliant that isn’t too harsh

I’ve used a pumpkin exfoliator on my face before and it did wonders
I will have to try this too!

This is interesting … thank you for doing all the leg work for us. Do you have any homemade exfoliation recipes that work? I have extremely sensitive skin so I’m always looking for something gentle.
Thanks!

Hi Small Footprints- At this point I don’t have any real
recommendations for a homemade exfoliation treatment. However,
I’ll see what I can find. Thanks for your question! And if
anyone has a homemade recipe they’d like to offer–please send
it in.
All the Best!

I use a peach exfoliator but I have to admit that I’m too lazy to
use it all the time.

I’d love to try “Exfolikate” but I find less-pricey stuff works pretty well, too.

I am always thinking that I can not go beauty parlor when I
was outside or on tour! Now I can do my beauty treatment myself
only when I outside or on tour. I am using Kate Somerville
from two months. It is really amazing product! My skin become
more shiner than before! Wonderful product!
Thank you very much Kate Somerville for making my skin more
shiner and clean.
