Coco Chanel’s influence can found in each season’s “new” trends. Coco herself popularized many of the looks we covet each year.
From the little black dress to big bold cuffs…Chanel understood what it took to create a truly timeless piece.
And you know I love Chanel!
In the following example, the fitted green suit and bold cuffs are unmistakably Chanel. Everything else came from designers obviously influenced by her designs.

I’m reading the book at the moment and LOVING it. It’s so different to other biographies I have read on her, which simple reiterated the myths that she spun herself.
She’s such an incredibly tough woman.
