You Know the Rules:
According to nearly everyone these days, our naked faces should never see the light of day. A naked face exposed to natural light? Oh the horror!
Yet, many faces break out at the thought of sunscreen. And we’re not just talking teenage skin here. Adults too break out after using sunscreen. Will the horrors never cease?
So What’s the Answer?
Personally I’ve found bareMinerals SPF 30 Natural Sunscreen to be the answer. Made by Bare Escentuals, this is a mineral sunscreen. Both UVA and UVB in a non-greasy sunscreen. There is hope!
Because it is mineral based, bareMinerals SPF 30 is much less likely to block pores. Bonus: it comes in a portable container with a built-in brush delivery system. So it’s even easy to apply on-the-go. And get an extra boost of essentials with included vitamins A, C and E as well as Aloe Vera Extract and antioxidants. And since a little goes a long way…it seems to last forever.
If sunscreen induced breakouts are your issue–check it out.

Love the mineral make-up alternative to SPF’s! Not only is it a great powder alone or over foundation, but every time I touch up during the day, I’m also re-applying sunscreen! My fav! Thanks for posting!
