Top Tips for Faking the Perfect Pout:
While the genetic gods smiled down upon Angelina Jolie’s famous lips…not all of us are so lucky. Injections are always an option. However they require on ongoing investment. 
How to cheat the look of full lips without draining the budget? Choose the right products. Just like Trompe l’oeil Painting… specific color combinations and textures in lip products can fool the eye.

What do you do when you want to look super-skinny?
- Wear dark clothing.
- Create a leaner line by wearing all one color.
- Opt for matte fabrics. No shine or shimmer.
To create fat lips–do the opposite!
Where to Begin?
- Exfoliate the lips. These lips will be getting a lot of attention…make sure it’s for the right reason!
- Then start with a nude lip pencil. The lip pencil should not be darker than your lips. Blending is the key to this whole look. Create a very subtle line around the lips. If you want to push the envelope a little, line in a way that is just right on the outer edge of your natural lip line. This will give you a little extra volume–but be subtle! Plus the pencil line will act like a fence to keep products from traveling outside the lip lines.
- Next, use a very light lipstick just in the center of the mouth.
- When you’re finished popping the center of your mouth with this light lipstick, take a light shimmery gloss to the rest of the lip. (I prefer light pink.) Make sure the gloss is darker than the lipstick. You want the center of the lip to look lightest and therefore the biggest. Blend it with the outer edges of the lipstick…and bam! You’re lips just got about 3x bigger looking.
Then just sit back and enjoy all the attention.
