Celebrity Cult Favorite:

As we move into our 30′s many begin to see the first signs of aging.  What changed?  What was it that gave us that youthful glow–and how do we get it back?

As we grow older, the last bit of baby fat in our faces generally disappears.  Skin begins to thin and our face almost “settles.”  This creates shadows in different areas of the face and causes a more aged look. For years the shift is so slight–it’s virtually undetectable.  Yet we look older and wonder why.

A common trick used by top celebrity makeup artists to combat this effect is Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Radiant Touch Highlighter.  This highlighter can be used under makeup or on top.  The applicator pen makes it so easy.  Click the bottom of the pen a couple of times to move product out onto the brush end.  Then apply a small amount to appropriate areas.  Once the product is on the face, gently pat it out.  Try not to rub it–just pat it in.

This Product has So Many Uses

• The first place to try it is in the hollow area under the eye.  Take just a little bit and follow the hollow beneath the eye inward to the inner corner of the eye.  Remember, the area between the inner corner of the eye and the side of the nose is really prone to shadows and therefore darkness.

• Have you begun to develop nose to mouth lines?  You know–the line that runs from the outer corner of the bottom of the nose down to the outer corner of the mouth…  Go over that line with Touche Eclat.  A line or wrinkle causes shadows.  When you apply this product right into the line, suddenly the shadow disappears and the line is much less obvious.

• Many women experience drooping outer corners of the mouth which becomes worse each year.  Once again, apply Touche Eclat from the outer corner of the lip…and just follow the line down.  Like magic it becomes less obvious.

• This product can also be used to visually lift the eyebrows.  Apply under the eyebrow on the outer portion of the brow bone.  Presto!

Touch up any time you want to look more rested and youthful.  And don’t just stop at these ideas.  Play with it and find even more uses.
