Charity Begins at Home

We found a Dog:

On his way home from work this week, my husband found a dog.  A very special dog.  You can tell this lost soul once had a home.  He is friendly and obedient and full of personality.  He’s even been fixed.  We decided to call him Sammy.

My husband said that when he stopped the car, Sammy ran to him immediately.  Per the neighbors, Sammy had been wandering around our neighborhood all day.  Yet no one tried to help him. {read more}

Enjoy Your Summer

It only comes around once a year:

What is it about summertime?  The warm breezes.  The smell of freshly cut grass.  Bare feet.  Golden skin.

I don’t know about you, but for me summer is all about memories.  It seems all the years of winter blend together.  But I remember the summers!

I remember many summers at my friend’s lake house.  Sitting on the beach at night around a crackling fire.  Spending the days aimlessly floating on the water.  {read more}
