Second Chances

Looking Beyond Wall Street:

On the heels of yesterday’s market drop, I came across a quote I thought fitting for today:

We all have big changes in our lives that are more or less a second chance. Harrison Ford

Could all of the changes taking place in today’s world be a second chance for many of us?  After this difficult transition, will we come out in a better place?

Shea Magnifique!

Favorite Body Moisturizer:

Those were the Days

The Beauty of Youth:

It’s been said, “Youth is wasted on the young.”  As I move through my 30′s, I finally truly understand the meaning in those words.  I’ve even found myself using this phrase a few times lately.  I miss so many things I once took for granted:

Truth in Advertising:

When a fresh manicure goes bad, it’s usually a total loss.  What was the reason this time?

  • Late for work, therapy, court, your own birthday party…something important.
  • Kids distracting you.
  • Rushing to pick up another double-shot-something at the local coffee shop while wondering how anyone makes it through the day without caffeine.  {read more}

Happy Flag Day

What do You Know about Flag Day?:

Happy Flag Day!

In grade school, we learned how to care for the American Flag.  Don’t let it touch the ground.  Don’t fly in inclement weather.  Raise and lower the flag ceremoniously.  You know the drill.

But what do we remember about Flag Day? {read more}
