In this week’s wrap up we’ve chosen to focus only on the passing of three icons of pop culture in America. We wish their families the best during this difficult time.

This week marked the end of the Carson era. Ed McMahon died on Tuesday. Most well-known as Johnny’s sidekick on The Tonight Show, Ed suffered a series of health setbacks over the last several years. He now goes on to join Johnny who died in 2005. Source: NPR.org
On Thursday, 70′s icon Farrah Fawcett died at the age of 62 surrounded by family and friends. Unfortunately she and Ryan’s son Redmond had to hear of his mother’s passing from jail. It’s hard to believe that vivacious, smiling girl from one of the most memorable posters of all time is gone. Source: Newsday.com
Just a few hours after Fawcett’s passing, TMZ broke news that pop icon Michael Jackson had suffered a cardiac arrest and died shortly thereafter. He was 50 years old and leaves behind 3 children. His passing was sudden and came as a shock to most everyone. His contributions to the music world will live on forever. Goodbye to the King of Pop. Source: TMZ
